Meet the introverted-extrovert, laid-back, goofy ring-leader of this super “classy” operation.
my name is Danielle. my heart is full, but my camera is hungry.
With minimalism in mind, and family (and community) at heart, I created A BLANK PLATE to provide refreshingly authentic food imagery to local chefs, caterers, restaurant groups, food bloggers, food trucks, and beyond. No fake lights, no fake followers, no fake inedible photo props, no fake love… just all natural, down to earth, real food, presented in a refreshingly simple and well loved manner.
A Blank Plate is also on a mission to serve our hungry community in a more tangible way. When I hear the trendy foodie around town say ‘Food is life’ I understand that phrase in a way most first-world folks never will. Having photographed and served on the front lines in war-torn refugee villages far away, and chatting with homeless men and women on the streets close to home, I do not take food (insecurity) lightly. The local and global hunger epidemic is a large reason why I choose to exclusively dedicate my efforts to FOOD moving forward. I am determined to use my talents and small influence to build relationships and start sincere, intimate, conversations with the most compassionate, impactful, chefs, hospitality groups, and catering companies this area has to offer. I want to bring change to our city as our foodie culture continues to grow into the future.
A Blank Plate provides refreshingly simple food and flat lay photography to foodie scenes from Tampa and beyond. Catch us around town capturing the most delicious food trends in the the following areas:
The Hall on Franklin | Seminole Heights | Downtown Tampa | Armature Works | Sparkman Wharf | Ybor City | The 600 Block - Downtown St. Petersburg | Riverside, Jacksonville | Winter Park | Lakeland | Tampa Food Truck Rallies | Hyde Park Village | and Beyond!
